Design tells a story.
I grew up surrounded by small business owners. The closest of which was my Mom, who is my biggest role model. I watched her build a business from scratch with no previous experience. Her biggest priority was always to provide the highest quality service possible, and with that at the forefront, I watched how powerful providing reliable quality service is for a small business. So it only made sense that when it came time for me to go to college I would study Business Administration and then of course bounce majors from Accounting, to Human Resources, to Marketing because all aspects of business interested me.
All through college I worked at coffee shops and fell in love with the work- not only for being able to make delicious drinks but also to serve the people in my community. As a side hustle while in college, my best friend and I even launched our own pop up coffee shop. We took our passion for coffee and wanted to share our unique recipes and ideas with the world. I built the entire brand from scratch and had a blast doing it.
At the same time, I became more and more obsessed with interior design. As I started taking what I was learning and developing my own style and decorating my home with thrifted pieces, I felt a tremendous positive impact rippling throughout my life by being intentional with my environment. My YouTube channel was born from the passion I felt for interior design and the desire to inspire people to do the same.
Eventually, business owners I knew started coming to me for help refreshing and creating marketing materials and I found a lot of joy in creating aligned branding materials for existing businesses too. I've found that most business owners don't start out with a strong desire to create a bunch of marketing materials or have a clear vision for interior design. If anything, marketing and design are the side projects that are rarely, if ever, given full attention.
I love bringing life back to businesses by creating art with meaning. Naturally, I am drawn to independent coffee shops- owners that care deeply about their customers and providing high quality products and services. This is the perfect blend of creativity and passion for helping small business owners increase visibility with intentional brand and interior design.
